Financial Policy

MASS has a sound financial policy and procedure manual which guides the organization when dealing with all financial related transactions. The organization have a general account and specific accounts for each project implemented, in this case the account for this project will be managed by the Board of Trustees in which the director is the signatory category A, while the Financial Trustee is the signatory category B.

Human Resource Development Policy

MASS gets feedback about the working environment through regular staff meetings, one-on-one meetings. During staff meetings, MASS ensures that each staff is heard as well as given proper solution. When staff do share ideas and feedback, MASS takes their suggestions seriously. MASS also recognizes staff for their contributions and give them credit for any ideas that are ultimately implemented in the field for the transformation

Sexual Harassment Policy

MASS is committed to providing good environment that ensures every staff is treated with dignity and respect and afforded equitable treatment. MASS is also committed to promoting a work environment that is conducive to the professional growth of its staff and encourages equality of opportunity. MASS will not tolerate any form of sexual harassment and is committed to take all necessary steps

The fundraising strategy keeps MASS Trust financially on track with a year round plan. It is just as a bee makes honey to survive through the winter so must every non-profit raise money to accomplish its goals and to prosper. This is often a hard truth for the board of a small non-profit to act upon but it is essential for an organization’s survival.

Strategic Plan

Using the determined goals and objectives, a clear and implementable action plan has been drafted, describing targets and activities for each year that will be indicative of progress in the predetermined strategic directions. The action plan is expected to assist with annual planning, and follow up, and will help the entire MASS team to feel confident about the direction the organization is headed and their own specific role therein.

MASS is an independent, non-governmental and non-profit organisation working for the holistic development of children from vulnerable families. It has just started to work with children by giving hope to vulnerable communities especially to children. We are committed to the welfare of children as well as working out ways to strengthen families and communities as a preventive measure in the fight against abandonment and social neglect.
