GIVING SMILE & LIVES TO DERSERVING CHILDREN PROGRAMME
MASS is an independent, non-governmental and non-profit organisation working for the holistic development of children from vulnerable families. It has just started to work with children by giving hope to vulnerable communities especially to children. We are committed to the welfare of children as well as working out ways to strengthen families and communities as a preventive measure in the fight against abandonment and social neglect.
OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM:
To initiate activities that bring positive children together towards learning and play
To motivate them to go for trauma counselling and ART treatments in Government Hospitals
To provide educational support to the children in need
To visit those whose lives are affected by the deadly disease or receive them at our office
To assess needs of the children and the ability of the family to provide for them
To monitor any assistance required
To offer counseling regarding access to services in the required departments
To work in partnership with other agencies in the same field
To seek funds locally and overseas agencies to expand the service
To identify and prepare volunteers for providing support to individual families and groups of children
Sas.org and Mass Trust aim to provide children a value chain of quality care services that ensures comprehensive childhood development. Our holistic development programs are aimed at transforming lives and making children self-reliant and contributing members of society. A sponsorship is a long-term, effective way of giving children hope, a happy childhood and a future. Through Sponsorship children gain Education, proper Healthcare, Livelihood skills and other resources & opportunities that help them grow as individuals, encourage their dreams and desires to become a better member of society.
This sponsorship program gives you important information about your sponsorship. How your contribution makes a difference. The contribution covers the living costs of the a child and we seek to reach as many vulnerable children as possible. To strengthen families at risk and make it possible for them to stay together is often the best way to help children. Therefore, our Family Strengthening Programme increasingly focus on helping families in the local community. The programmes provide support to gain skills and resources needed to become self-sufficient and give their children the care that all children deserve. While supporting our work, you help improve the living conditions of exposed children and their families in the local community. How your child sponsorship works.
