MASS Fundraising Strategy

The fundraising strategy keeps MASS Trust financially on track with a year round plan. It is just as a bee makes honey to survive through the winter so must every non-profit raise money to accomplish its goals and to prosper. This is often a hard truth for the board of a small non-profit to act upon but it is essential for an organization’s survival. In order to make our fundraising plan as realistic as possible, we make a list of our fundraising prospects and we follow it very strictly. We incorporate these fundraising strategies into our annual plan. We concentrate our efforts on building a base of individual members, finding a few key donors (businesses, individuals, foundations) who will make major gifts. We also plan to organize one event that will generate funds and involve the community and perhaps we hope that it will provide media exposure for our organization. And by all means, it will surely help us to exploring local funding sources such as the local chamber of commerce and the local philanthropists. And this is the funding strategy of MASS and we hope that it will keep us to going straight on the track of development.
